The last decade has been a joyride, like no other, from being a nerd who joined the herd at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2012 to the hustler now leading two different teams at GroMo in 2023.

One should always retrospect to prospect better in the future. The pursuit of experiments defined my last decade. I always had a checklist of what I wanted to experience because this age won't be the same in future, and the - innate - freshness of thoughts won't be there.

The first four years were extreme experimentation - a lot packed into a routine! Every extra-curricular and co-curricular activity interested me. I found my calling in getting funds, executing deliverables and managing stakeholders; in a nutshell, strategic planning and execution. I attribute this to leading Rendezvous IITD - the cultural festival, starting Consulting & Analytics Club, organising TEDxIITDelhi, and many more. Academically, I pursued my thesis beyond these four years and applied for a patent which has cleared the FER stage.

The next five years were about experiences in depth. I joined my friends (NitinMohit and Karanvir) in starting RunnerBee (a pre-Dunzo concierge platform); it was a good learning experience. I started my job hustle with OperaSolutions as a consultant, where I juggled between Eastern Time (US), IST (India) and PST (Philippine). Here, I picked more on the strategic part and process design. Next up, I started exploring opportunities around my thesis for commercialisation and interacted with government stakeholders, which led me to prepare for civil services (UPSC). I gave three years to that and also picked a Master of Economics. None of them didn't work out, clearly!

Last year, I joined GroMo after chatting with Ankit Khandelwal and Darpan Khurana. We are disrupting the financial products distribution and building India's largest company in that space. The idea was to find a place where I could delve more into three functional areas - leadership, people management and process design; in a nutshell, strategic planning and execution. I'm already looking at the fourth project and building credit card distribution network Pan-India. I would love to interact with industry experts to learn more about this.

I thank everyone who has shared paths along the way. Aakash Sai Dhruv AnkitAnirudh Praerit Shamli Prakash Rajat Yadav Rajat Gupta and many more.

Cheers to what lies ahead! To the next decade & many more!
